Harvard said that good relationships keep us happier and
healthier. And there are three big lessons about relationship. First, social connections
are good for our not only physical but mental health. Second, the quality of
your close relationships that matters. If you have many friends, but most of
them have bad impacts on you, why not making just one good friend who has
positive influence on you? Quantity is not that important. Last but not least, good
relationship also protects our brains. People who are in relationships where
they really feel they can count on the other person in times of need, those
people's memories stay sharper and longer. Instead, they experience earlier
memory decline.
As for my own opinion, I think “company” makes a good
life. When I stay with my friends, I can set my mind at rest; When I am with my
family, I won’t feel reserved, and can do myself without wearing the mask. “Company”
is a kind of relationship, therefore, I think what Harvard said are reasonable,
and I really agree with them.
There isn’t so much time in life, so we have to cherish
every living moment. If you have free time, taking some time to accompany your family
and someone you care about. You’ll feel a sense of happiness.
